Swim Instructors Needed at Newport Swim Team in Newport, OR

As a Swim Instructor at Newport Swim Team, you will take the lead on swimming programs and deliver both individual and group lessons designed for children of different ages and skill levels. This position is perfect for students who have a strong love for swimming, exceptional communication abilities, and a talent for motivating young swimmers while cultivating a deep appreciation for the water. We are currently seeking a dedicated and driven Swim Instructor to become part of our team and contribute to our Newport Swim Team in Newport, OR.

Responsibilities:
• Provide swim instruction to students of all ages and levels
• Create a safe and positive learning environment for all students
• Monitor student progress and offer feedback as needed

Requirements:
• Previous experience working with students of various ages and abilities, preferably in an educational or instructional setting
• Proficiency in diverse swim strokes and techniques
• Solid background in water safety and survival skills
• CPR & First Aid Certified (infant, child & adult)
• Strong communication, organization, time management, and creative teaching skills
• Effective behavior management skills to handle challenging situations with composure
• Experience in childcare or sports coaching is advantageous
• Genuine passion for swimming and working with children
