Job Description
As a Swim Instructor at Emerald Aquatics, you will lead swimming programs and provide personalized individual and group lessons for children of all ages and skill levels. This role is perfect for students who have a genuine love for swimming, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to inspire young swimmers to develop a love and respect for the water. We are currently seeking a motivated Swim Instructor to join our team in Eugene, OR.
Responsibilities
• Provide swim instruction for students of varying ages and abilities
• Create a safe and encouraging learning environment
• Assess student progress and offer feedback
Requirements
• Experience working with students of all ages and abilities, preferably in an educational or instructional setting
• Proficient in different swim strokes and techniques
• Knowledgeable in water safety and survival skills
• Certified in CPR & First Aid (infant, child & adult)
• Excellent communication, organization, time management, and creative teaching skills
• Strong behavior management skills
• Experience in childcare or sports coaching preferred
• Passion for swimming and working with children
