Cottage Grove Aqua Lions is hiring Swim Instructors for Summer lessons in Cottage Grove, OR

As a Swim Instructor at Cottage Grove Aqua Lions, you will lead swimming programs and conduct customized individual and group lessons for children of varying ages and abilities. This position is perfect for students who possess a strong passion for swimming, effective communication skills, and the ability to motivate young swimmers while fostering a love and respect for the water. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and self-driven Swim Instructor to join our team and contribute to our Cottage Grove Aqua Lions in Cottage Grove, OR.

Responsibilities
• Provide swim instruction to students of all ages and abilities
• Ensure a safe and positive learning environment for all students
• Monitor and evaluate student progress, offering feedback and guidance as necessary

Requirements
• Experience working with students of all ages and abilities, particularly in an educational or instructional environment
• Proficient swimming abilities and knowledge of various swim strokes and techniques
• Strong background in water safety and survival skills
• CPR & First Aid certification (infant, child & adult)
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
• Effective behavior management abilities to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally
• Prior experience in childcare or sports coaching is advantageous
• Passion for swimming and working with children
