Job Description
As a Swim Instructor at Bend Swim Club, you will lead swimming programs and deliver personalized individual and group lessons to kids of different ages and abilities. Ideal for students with a genuine enthusiasm for swimming and the ability to inspire young swimmers to appreciate and respect the water. We are currently seeking a motivated Swim Instructor to join our team at Bend Swim Club in Bend, OR.
Responsibilities
• Provide swim instruction to students of all ages and abilities
• Ensure a safe and positive learning atmosphere for all students
• Monitor student progress and offer feedback and support as necessary
Requirements
• Work experience with students of all ages and abilities, preferably in an educational or instructional environment
• Proficient in various swim strokes and techniques
• Knowledgeable in water safety and survival skills
• CPR & First Aid Certified for infants, children, and adults
• Excellent communication, organization, time management, and creative teaching abilities
• Strong behavior management skills, capable of handling challenging situations professionally
• Experience in childcare or sports coaching is a plus
• Passion for swimming and working with children
