Job Description
As a Swim Instructor at Madras Swim Team, you will lead swimming programs and provide tailored lessons to children of different ages and skill levels. This position is perfect for students who are passionate about swimming and have excellent communication skills. We are currently seeking a motivated Swim Instructor to join our team in Madras, OR and inspire young swimmers to love the water.
Responsibilities
• Provide swim instruction to students of all ages and skill levels
• Ensure a safe and positive learning environment for all students
• Monitor and assess student progress, offering feedback and guidance as needed
Requirements
• Experience working with students of all ages and abilities
• Strong swimming skills and knowledge of various strokes and techniques
• Background in water safety and survival skills
• CPR & First Aid Certified (infant, child & adult)
• Excellent communication, organizational, time management and teaching skills
• Strong behavior management skills
• Experience in childcare or sports coaching is a plus
• Passion for swimming and children
