Job Description
At La Grande Swim Club, we are seeking a dedicated Swim Instructor to lead our swimming programs and provide tailored lessons to children of all ages and skill levels. This position is perfect for students who are passionate about swimming, possess exceptional communication skills, and have a natural ability to inspire young swimmers to love and respect the water. Join our team in La Grande, OR as a Swim Instructor and make a difference in the lives of our La Grande Swim Club members!
Responsibilities
• Provide swim instruction for students of all ages and abilities
• Create a safe and positive learning environment
• Assess student progress and provide feedback as needed
Requirements
• Experience working with students in an educational or instructional environment
• Proficiency in various swim strokes and techniques
• Knowledge of water safety and survival skills
• CPR & First Aid Certified for infants, children, and adults
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
• Effective behavior management abilities
• Experience in childcare or sports coaching is a plus
• Passion for swimming and working with children
